Panasonic Frame Rate Converter Isn't Working...

I have downloaded and installed the Panasonic Frame Rate Converter into Final Cut Pro HD 5.1, and it's not showing up in the TOOLS pull down menu. I am going to guess that it is because I use FCP on an Intel Mac. Are there any other frame rate conversion softwares (that are free)?

If this has already appeared in another thread, I apologize to the SENIORS... who seem bugged if a redundant topic pops up.

Use the version of the FRC on the FCP 5.1 distribution disk in the Extras folder. Drop it in your plug-ins folder. If it doesn't show up, I would trash FCP prefs.

listen to nsoltz, this is what happened to me, and using the one on the disk fixed the problem - the downloadable version is not intel compatible for some reason.
