Panasonic! Expanded focus assist while recording would be really great to have!

ok, I've been trying to master Manual Focusing and that's how I shoot since I got the camera in Feb. And I must tell that Expanded FOCUS ASSIST would be really REALLY helpful while recording. Even for a small period of time. So, Panasonic, is this possible?

Is it just me, the guy's just starting with the camera? I have a feeling it'd be great benefit for everyone...

There are several focus assist setting for the DVX200 and they do a really good job of getting critical focus, especially in 4K and UHD. The camera has three settings:

[EXPAND]: when Focus Assist is used this magnifies the central part of the screen

[PEAKING]: when Focus Assist is used, it highlights in-focus portions with color

[BOTH]: both [EXPAND] and [PEAKING]

The DVX200 has a lot of features, you need to read the manual and Barry Green's free book. And then dig into the menus

I use EVF/LCD DETAIL a lot during recording to check focus. I assigned it to User button #1 so I can easily toggle it on/off.

I use EVF/LCD DETAIL too all the time. But! Sometimes, especially in dark environments I'd use EXPAND Focus ASSIST **while** recording, just to make sure my focus is spot-on. But EXPAND doesn't work while recording. So that's why my question to Panasonic.

PS. I read Barry's book. Huge thank you to him. So, based on it my question came up.
