Panasonic DVX100B “The Panny”

Selling my 100B, It hurts, but right now I need the money and will in the near future purchase another, Because this is a GREAT Camcorder!

The one Feature that was a major selling point the 24fps, Really is an amazing Feature.

I always tell people, when they ask does it really make your video look like “The Movies”? That yes, it does. But Making your video look like Film and the big budget movies is so much more then 24fps. When you use this frame rate WITH Decent acting, a basic, very basic light kit (I used 2 1000w lights for my films) and some nice designed sets, Youll get the Big movie look.
When you take the time to plan your shots you will get movie quality, the 24fps is the polish that ties it all together and makes the person say, “This looks great!”

I HIGHLY Recommend this Camera for any small film production…Even larger films. Big films have been made on less.

With the Gear comes

1. Panasonic DVX100B – with 157 hours on it. The hours are from 2 short films, various weddings, some event filming such as Cheerleading comps, Hockey games, swimsuit contest, and at all events the camera was carried in a hard shell case, and 90% of the time on a tripod.
2. One Hard Shell Case – Case is perfect size, built for the 100B. Foam core is on both top and bottom, of course the bottom has been modified for camera and components. (Refer to Photo) you may be able to purchase new interior foam to modify as you see fit.
3. Two 6 Hour Batteries – One came with the camcorder, and I separately purchased another one. A full charge, they will last for most day gigs, I’ve never run into any problems.
4. Three lens filter Kit – Purchase a ND Filter, Polarization filter, and a UV Filter kit. I used the UV filter 100% of the time with the camera, doubling it as a Lens protector. Using this and the lens cover to protect the lens glass as much as possible, and it worked.
5. Four Close-up lenses. Using these for shooting close ups is a really cool effect. It gives you a very Tight Depth of field and creatively you can create some intense shots for your short film. Stack them will create a Closer focus!
6. All these accessories. Remote, boom microphone holder, Charger, and power cable,

SOLID Starter Kit

A recommended accessory is the boom microphone and pole combo from Guy graphics!
I got it and it works AWESOME for short films Docs, to capture CLEAR SOUND!
