Panasonic DVX100a (standard def) -- Audio is NOT recording? no audio level movement
Having a HUGE audio problem... both the internal mic and an external directional mic I have are NOT working. I get ZERO audio levels on the viewfinder, and even after recording something and checking it - there is no audio.
I have the MIC level selected for both input 1 and 2 -- and checked them both with my XLR cable to directional mic. Then I have CHANNEL 1 and 2 set for INPUT 2 (when the XLR is plugged into input 2) ... and I've tried the CHANNELS on input 1 setting when again - the XLR directional mic cable is using the input 1 slot...
Even having the CHANNEL 1 and 2 and "internal mic" mode - still gives me nothing.
This is very perplexing --- I hadn't used it in awhile - and cannot understand what it could possibly be -- are there ANY issues with this camera audio going out -- or what would make it completely go out?
