Panasonic BT-LH80W BT mount vs Noga arm

I've got the lh80 with what pretty much amounts to the bt mount. The bt mount is just some parts from ultralight control systems that have been pieced together and packaged for panasonic. I'm using just a standard 3/8 mount and not the fancier monitor mount. The system is slick and holds well. I've got an 8" ulcs arm and the leverage with the monitor that far out is too much for the mount and it wont hold. But with the single joint in the bt mount I can have my monitor sticking straight out and it doesnt budge. I've got mine paired up with a bogen superclamp that I attach to a tripod leg or anything else that is handy. I'm too chicken to put it on top of the camera. Especially with a AB battery that would be alot of weight up there. Please note that all my testing is with no battery, I use an XLR to AC adapter. I do however have a petrol case/hood that stays on the monitor and probably adds a good half pound to a pound. Never used the noga arm but I've heard it has some trouble with the weight of the lh80.

There are a number of Noga arms (I think 5) on the market that cater for different wieghts. I got second from highest weight (cant remember of the top of my head) but it works without issue.
