Just making sure, are the dvx batteries compatible with the hpx170?

anyone know how good the ebay generic batteries are? i've had some bad luck with some canon batteries for my still camera....but maybe someone has had some good luck with ones for the panny

Do you guys know if Jarred is still selling his batteries?

thanks

Same Batteries. As for generics? They'll work for awhile, but not anywhere close to as long as pannies.

If you want pro power, then look into name brands that supply such things.

If you want to save a few dollars then I would suggest studying Tekkeon batteries.

at the end of the day though I would strongly suggest owning multiple Panasonic 5400mah batteries, or the line of DVX sponsored batteries which I'm sure a poster below will give.

I've got multiple DVXUSER batteries that are still in use now on their 4th camera, (DVX100-> HVX200-> HVX200-> HPX170).

thanks guys... i got all my answers... i kinew them in the back of my head but i just needed confirmation

The batteries that I had purchased for my DVX100A work fine with my HPX-170.

Two recommendations:

Jarred at: contact@landmine.tv

Personally, I'd pass on the "generic" ebay stuff.
