Both Setbember 23 & 24 are interesting dates at DV Expo with 2 different presentations from Panasonic:

Panasonic, the Platinum Sponsor of Digital Video Expo, has announced two presentations that the company will make during the event, to be held at the Pasadena Convention Center September 22-24. Both will be made at the Presentation Theater on the DVE exhibit show floor and be free to all attendees:

Speaker: Steve Cooperman, Product Line Business Manager, Panasonic
Learn how Panasonic’s next generation of workflow products can increase your creative capabilities on your next production, while saving time and money. This session will focus on Panasonic’s latest developments in P2 workflow technology, including the new AJ-HPM200, Panasonic’s most versatile P2 HD mobile recorder/player (seen above) featuring more editing, recording and AV/IT connection functions, and multi-format compatibility including optional AVCHD support. Designed to be at the center of any file-based workflow, the versatile HPM200 allows users to view content in a post facility, supports traditional baseband workflows (create low-bit rate dailies in AVCHD), and it offers expanded network functions with GigE and FTP interfaces.
