Is anybody using these.. are they any good... is there any quirks we should know about... I'll be using it it Pal (Australia) if that makes a difference....
I have one and am using it in NTSC land. It works with either USB or Firewire though Firewire is faster by a bit. The only issue I have had was using it with P2 genie to transfer files from the PCD10 via fire wire while writing to a HD via usb, which resulted in some artifacts in the video.
Using it in usb mod e has not produced any problems, nor has using it in firewire mode when connected directly to a computer running FCP. I like it very much.
