2 hours and 40 minutes @24fps so you would need 2 cards for 5 hours. That's using DVCPROHD. Not sure if the 170 does AVC-INTRA???

I will also trade 2 of these cards for a decent HVX200 or HPX170. Possibly even an HMC150 if it was well equipped. I would trade 4-5 of them for another HPX300, 370, or 500. I'm also looking for Sennheiser mics (416 & G3 kits).

I have friends in LA, DC, Denver, etc. so we might even be able to work out an in person deal depending on your exact location. Otherwise I am easy to verify (homeowner here in MT, landline phone #, verified Paypal account, business checking account with local bank, etc)
 
Considering a brand new 64gig A series card sells new for $899 at BH, is there something more you should tell us about this deal?

B&H ran out of A series cards a while ago. They're hard to find now. Also, A series never sold for 899, they sold for 999 for a while but only on B&H, who has discontinued this deal. All they carry now is E series, which have 5% of the lifespan of the old R and A series. (1,500 cycles vs 30,000).

Take a look for yourself. These are like gold right now. I had to hunt for them but suddenly my needs went from 7 to 3 cards so I'm selling 4 of them. Might consider 5. I'm open to offers but not unreasonable in my asking price. They're selling retail at over 2k right now at the few places who have them. For someone who uses their cards every day this is a way better deal than E series cards. For someone who uses their cards once a week or so, it isn't a deal at all.

Please keep unresearched comments and outdated pricing to yourself.

I'm open to offers everyone. I listed a fair amount of gear I'd take in trade. I wasn't one of the lucky ones who bought up all the cheap cards from B&H, I had to purchase these after the discontinuation and I refuse to buy the new cards with 5% the lifespan of these. Someone must appreciate the difference in quality here.

Shoot me an email and let me know what they're worth to you. I'll trade for Panasonic gear, Sennheiser audio equipment, a nice firewire mixer, Nikon D300 or better, Anton Bauer batteries, a jib arm, vehicles, etc. I just want some of my money back out of the 4 cards I know I can't use right now.

My bad on the typo regarding the card series. However, I am entitled to voice my opinion here as that is what this is, a user forum. So you with 16 posts and zero selling background at DVXuser should maybe think before you call someone out.

Generally the Market Place is not for debate, but your pricing seems pretty proud. And yes, you are entitled to your opinion regarding the value of A series cards. Usually when someone with no history at DVXuser is selling something with a high value, the posting will garner some comment. The market will dictate your results.

Considering you have already dropped your eBay price to $1250 buy it now, me thinks you are finding out.

Yes there is a difference between an A series and E series card, no debate there. Presently E cards do sell for $899 at BH with free shipping, are they as good, no.

All I'm saying is show me a cheaper, new, A series card for this price anywhere on the web. It's obvious I'm willing to take less if someone buys the lot, so why lace my thread with hearsay in an attempt to thwart buyers from the best deal on new cards they'll find? My pricing isn't proud, it's reflective of the current market. I realize B&H once sold these cards cheap, but they don't now and won't again. Panasonic is obviously pushing the E series because A: they wear out faster and B: they're cheaper to make. Used, these go for 1000-1200 on Ebay right now.

I do appreciate you correcting the typo, naturally I got defensive when a typo made me look like a crook when indeed I'm offering the best price around, trust me I've looked. I don't want debate, I want my cards sold. Your opinions are welcome here as long as you're including me in the discussion and not simply making smart ass comments to prevent me from selling items. We're all friends here.

As far as my 0 sales record I've dealt about 50k worth of stuff on Ebay over the years and tried this forum for once because I had good luck and found my HPX300 on it. I do have one card on Ebay going cheaper because I need the money to get a vehicle I've found and I'm a little short. I'd take 1200/card if someone bought 5. That would get me enough to put a new basement floor in :grin:
 
I originally looked at your post because I am interested in more P2.

You may have a great history, but not here. All new posters are subject to an increased level of scrutiny. That isn't smart ass, and I have zero interest in preventing good business being done.

What hearsay am I spreading? Other than my typo, which I corrected and admitted, what hearsay are you talking about? You called me out on this, so be specific. If I have made a mistake, I will admit it.

I am a straight shooter. My record as a poster, buyer, and seller, speaks for itself, check.

I was referring to your price quotes and opinion in general on my prices as hearsay. I'm not calling anyone out or trying to have a debate, I posted an ad so if you're interested in the cards make me an offer please. I thanked you for correcting the typo but as far as credibility goes on DVXuser it doesn't matter. I have credibility on Ebay which is where the items are posted and I don't think that because I haven't commented on video stuff in the past I should be railed on for posting a classified ad.

Seriously Grant I'm not attacking you, I'm simply asking you to make an offer or leave my post alone. It's in the rules for the forum for crying out loud. Ridiculing other people's prices is actually a stated rule. If you think my price is too high then don't buy, if you see my points about the current market then make an offer.

Come on man you chose to attack me in the first place, everything I've said is in defense. I wasn't one of the lucky ones who bought those cheap cards, I got these after the good deal ended, recently, at a very different price. If you want to attack me further then do it through email and spare everyone else the expense of reading all this. Anyone who's shopped for these has found what I'm saying to be true. If you still want cards then just ask. If not, I'm through arguing.
