Hi all.

Still learning my way around the 270. One thing i can't seem to figure out what happened to recording 720 30PN footage???

The menu's don't show that anymore, the way it did on 250 or 170. Is it now something i have to configure in the synro scan? Some other menu? I have a client that only shoots 720 30PN.

In addition, i was wondering when you are recording on regular P2 card.....and you fill that card up while shooting....will it automatically roll over and start recording to a micro P2 card without any issues?

Thanks again
J

You can (with the latest firmware) record 720/30PN. You have to go into "system mode" and change "line&freq" to 720-59.94P, then change rec format to AVC-I100/30PN.

You cannot span a clip to or from microP2 to P2.

Is that true 30PN, or is it really 29.97PN. Camera makers sometimes use different ways of calling their frame rates.

29.97 is my educated guess. I'm guessing what you are thinking about is 24 or 23.976 where some cameras can be set to one or the other where true 24 would be for a "film out".
