Panasonic 20mm + tele-wide converter ?

I just purchased the amazing Pana 20mm f1.7 a few days ago, but I'd like to find workaround for the fixed focal...

-How good is the x2 sensor crop feature in the GH1 ? Does it have a similar sharpness, or more like a 480p look ?

-Has anyone tried attaching tele/wide converter lens to Pana 20mm ?
There's plenty of them for cheap on ebay, x0.7/x1.5/x2.0... How good are they working with the Pana ? That would open a whole range of virtual focals having the same f1.7/AF features from the original lens.

Never use the 2x crop feature. It's a horrible feature when used in video. Probably has merits in photography since it's a 12MP sensor. But for video it really kicks the resolution in the teeth.

its a hit and miss with the converters. ive seen good ones and ive seen bad ones. it is a nice addition though. I have a ryanox and its not that good wide open. you have to make sure that the adapter isnt too heavy as it will tax the motor in the lens.

I'm really considering the Lumix one (made for the LX3) since the quality seem nice and they,re kinda lightweight.

If you don't go to far with the wide ratio (0.7x is prolly the max) it should give good result, most 0.5 or so adapter seem to suck BADLY.

I'm also interested in Tele converter, but I havent seen any test....
