Up for sale is a Panasonic 20mm m43 lens. Sorry about the lack of pictures, but I'll post some as soon as my kit-zoom comes in.

Price
-$316 shipped (slashed from $335) in the CONUS via PayPal

Condition
-clean with no bumps or scuffs on the body
-optical quality is excellent

What's Included?
-the Panasonic 20mm lens itself
-original box and receipt
-front lens cap
-rear lens cap
-original lumix lens bag

Reason for selling
-I really hate to sell it for now, but I'm studying abroad this semester, so I need all the little pennies I can pick up. I actually plan on re-buying the lens when I get back and have enough funds left over. For now, I gotta' live with a kit-zoom and old fast primes. (bleh . . .)

Reputation and Safety
-I've sold thousands of dollars worth of stuff on Amazon and forums, so if you need any feedback you can glance at my amazon feedback or check my track record on GetDPI forums. Message me through both places to if you need any extra identity confirmation.

Let me guess... you realized it's the difference between shooting decent video in good light vs. also shooting decent video in bad light?

I'm tempted to sell mine, but it's amazing at the difference in even 1.7 and 2.8 through the camera.

Exactly. That and size is pretty important also. I tried walking around with a Zuiko 28/2.8 to test my size tolerance, and even that was kind of bugging me. I'll save anything beyond a pancake-size lens for telephoto use only. I'm not disciplined enough to use zooms, so they kind of give me a headache when it comes to composition.

yes the problem is this let's say you're like me and you have something along the lines of the following lenses

50mm(100mm or so crop) 1.4
20mm 1.7
28mm(56mm or so crop) 2.8

these are all relatively fast and within each other's f-stop range. they cover most of the focal lengths from wide (the 20mm) to normal (the 28/56) to long

now if you're shooting a short or film and you light your scene a certain way, they all overlap in their apertures so you can shoot at roughly f2.0 - 3.0 and be fine and still have the same lighting, roughly the same apertures and DoF you want etc.
But if you give up your 20mm and say "Well I'll just use my 14-140mm kit lens instead for the 20mm wide angle shots" it messes up your whole setup because you might have lit your whole scene for a particular aperture commensurate with your other lenses such as f2.0 etc...but now with slow as crap kit lens you're stuck at abysmal f4.0 and have to either relight your whole scene or do other not fun things just to get a consistent lighting look. So it's best to just stick with 20mm and keep all your lenses within a similar speed/aperture like 2.0-3.0 which is around where hollywood shoots most of their films anyway not f/4.0 to f/8.0 like the kit lens and other slow zooms.
