Hey folks!
I am experiencing some problems with my Panasonic 12-35mm (version 1) on my GH4 body. I have two issues, sometimes simultaneously, sometimes separately.
1) When IOS is turned on the lens it bounces at random intervals. The problem does not occur when OIS is turned OFF. However; when in manual focus sometimes I will also get random jumps when I am focusing, then once focus is set jitters stop. This can be seen 0:03-0:06 of the video linked below.
2) Randomly when filming the lens will make this intense screeching sound. Thankfully I was able to isolate the sound and remove it on a recent project, but this is not gonna work for future. This can be seen 0:06-0:12 of the linked video.
Any thoughts on what this might be? This only occurs on this lens- all my other micro 4/3 lens work fine on the same body. I work and live in Chiang Mai, Thailand working with a non-profit and few gov. agencies and finding a reliable camera repair shop hasn't proved successful. Is there a Panasonic repair shop out here I am just not aware of? Thanks so much!
