Katsu-Ya (here in Los Angeles) is pretty damn good. But the stuff they made those guys est??? I dunno. (Bloom said in his Hirano San commentary that even the green tea was not good.

Steve, get over to Little Tokyo in downtown LA for same bang on delicious Japanese food. Honda-Ya is an amazing yakitori (Japanese pub food, cold beer, small grilled plates) and Daikakuya is the best homemade ramen you'll ever eat!
