Here is some dvcpro 50 footage we took at a car trash in italy for our documentary.
Its encoded in mpeg2, there was no post cc, but i remember that we set the colours a little stronger while recording.

Let me know what you think, i am also open for technical questions or what ever.

THAT has to be about the MOST ANNOYING site I have EVER seen video uploaded to!
BUT; I am still [painfully] going through the download...will give feedback, once downloaded.

Ha! Great shots in there, nicely edited too. Lovely start with the FIAT Bambino: got to love that one. What a car.
It didn't quite seem to POP as much as I'd expected, but I bet with some gentle CC you could make it really shine.

Why? All you have to do is wait about 40 seconds for the download link. Is that really so hard for you? Just open the link in a new window, and keep surfing until the counter reaches zero. And they offer up to 250 MB of free storage, and you get to choose what quality, unlike youtube and co.
 
anyway, stop talking about the upload page(thanks anyway for the 250 mb hint!), i did post it without cc to show the beautiness "out of the box"(which is actually not out of the box, cause the dp did some adjustments), i know that some certain parts look overexposed, but thats what ive seen from a couple of hvx shots, there is definitly enough coulour information to adjust those parts in post..!

Any other comments or questions?
 
Very nice footage. Liked the editing and the music.. DVCPRO 50 looks sweet. I might have to get off the HD addiction and try it...


Also love the German attitude... and ya have to wonder why someone wouldn't want to host 220mb... hmmmm. Maybe it's time to pick up a site. I pay 12 bucks a month and have 2.5 TB of storage and 1200 gigs of bandwidth per month....

Might be time to step up... so we can see more. Also a junkyard with masarati.. and old VW. You wouldn't see that here.. those would all be gone and in someone's garage getting restored... In Germany.. must be littering the streets with old VW, BMW and AUDi..

in germany they probably would have beaten us away if we had recorded something like that..or suspected us being greenpeace members...but they were really nice, actually thats the clip that i edited for the guy from the spot, cause they were so kind!

I definitly should think about getting some webspace, but after getting the hvx and some other equippment, id be more then happy to get back to zero bucks on my account..!
I am so bloody young and poor i could cryyyyy!

thanks for your words justyn, i always enjoed your stuff!-strange feeling to be able to post now, after so many month of waiting and reading dvxuser..all i can say is thanks folks!
