pal windows and avid, trouble!

I am using avid pro hd, the film is captured OK I have been editing and I have exported the stuff to quicktime (the quicktime looks OK) but after sorensen squeeze and sonic dvedit the resulting dvd is of bad quality, when people are in motion their profles are doubled...
What to do???:undecided
 
There is a known bug that DV codec based maerial has an interlacing probloem when exporting - either to QT reference or graphic files. If you can create a non DV resolution via transcode as a workaround, that will work -

XPress Pro does the transcoding to a non DV resolution. Selet sequence then the consolidate/transocde from the menu. From there select tjhe resolution needed.
