PAL Slomo 50fps

Hi all,

It's been a while since PAL HVX is out there and I was just wandering how it looks the 50fps footage.

If any of you guys in PAL land have some would you please post it here?

Don't look at the picture quality - it's only a technical test of the new PAL 720p support in EDIUS Broadcast V4 (WB preset, focus rough estimate, midday sun etc.).

Hi Taff,
i got some footage(nothing special) and would post it, but due to the nle lack(canopus will release a trial with broadcast settings of edius 4 soon) it will take some more time to see this stuff..sorry...maybe jjb can do something..he got a full version of edius broadcast and a hvx-p.m. him..nice guy!

Edit: Incredible...!He was writing this up in the meantime..havent i been right?

Is there any way to get this PAL HVX 50fps slomo closer to the 60fps "superslomo" of the NTCS HVX? I guess it would only be duplicating frames...and no wouldn't be the same, right?

I just just checked out the vid of the "Swiss Drummer In N.Y".I like very much.Well shot with that real atmosphere + stuff.Pity the music was not in sync with the footage though.Good work.

Thanks for the flowers. I'm well aware about the synch problem. I had some troubles while capturing the footage with FCP (was not my NLE). I'll probably rework the whole thing with EDIUS if I find some time.
By the way - with a HVX200E and P2s a capture problem is a thing of the past.

By the way you've motivated me to rework the Swiss Drummer vid - now it's in sync (thanks to EDIUS Broadcast V4) and the image quality has improved. If you are interested in the band - there is a new clip - SHRINE FOR THE BLACK MADONNA - available showing more about these guys out of the ordinary.
