PAL or NTSC?

Hallo,
friends in South Africa would like have from me a dvd with some clips, recorded in Germany with my HMC 151, the european version of HMC 150.
The clips ar shot at the european system frequency of 50 Hz.
Can I burn this disc in PAL or must it be in NTSC standard?

Yep. We've had some conflict with some of our missionaries in SA due to the PAL / NTSC thing. They were using PAL equipment.
 
Just figured I'd mention this because it was an interesting sight:

I tried to get a job this summer in a place that essentially sells their footage (usually events) across the world, sometimes for stock purposes, etc. Anyway when touring through the facilities, they had one interesting rack mounted device that did the 60i to 50i conversion on the fly in real time, to which it eventually would be sent live to South Africa. The cost of the device? $50,000, which they "just paid off".
