PAL DVX in the states

doing some tour footage in the states this year...

Im taking my PAL DVX over there because I dont want my HVX getting smashed up and I was wondering about a couple of things....I hear shooting under certain lights is hell?....and how am I gonna charge the damn thing?
 
Regarding the lights,
I assume the problem you are refering to is about flickering lights. This is due to the US power system uses 60hz (instead of 50hz in PAL countries). Changing your shutter speed to 1/60 instead of 1/50 should take care of problems caused by this.
