PAL camcorder repair in the US?

I have a friend from Holland shooting a documentary in Costa Rica. She's using a Panasonic AG-DVX100E, and from what she has told me over the phone, is having issues with playback of any newly recorded footage. Older recordings playback fine. She had the heads cleaned locally (in Costa Rica) but is still experiencing the problem. My question is, does anyone one know of anywhere in the US (preferably close to Atlanta) that can repair a PAL camcorder? Her only option is to ship it back to Holland to be repaired, which would take weeks and would basically render the whole trip to Costa Rica void.

I would think that nay authorized Panasonic repair center would be able to check the heads on a PAL model. Check the Panny website for a repair center near you.
