OK, here's the scoop. A buddy and I discussed building a slider out of a new pair of 1 meter long 12mm rails and four pillow (bearing) blocks. We thought ball bearing would be best and bought one of these.
Larry was over today and we futzed with it. We came away with we do not have the set up necessary and would need to send everything out to have all the pieces/parts created. Larry and I both also question the noise we got from the ball bearings as the blocks slid down the shaft.
We opened one and cleaned up and lubed the ball bearings, the other rail and two bearing blocks is still wrapped.
I paid $120 to my door and will sell for $100 shipped and Paypalled in CONUS.
