Edit: Also, this obviously wasn't taken from behind a net. So how did you manage to protect the camera?
 
Oh man... i havent played in so long... the new guns look so weird...

I cant wait till i walk on the field with my Angel Classic.... yea the 1997 one.... and people ask me what that "new" gun is.....

Also, for all the painball fans... just ot give you an idea of how long ive been playing. my Compressed air tank has been Hydro tested 4 times..... :)

Looking good. Some interesting field choices the team made. Makes me wish I still played.

I went out a few months ago. Decked out in all my tournament gear carrying around a spyder classic. (Sold my Angel a few years back and the classic barely works now-a-days). And I got my butt kicked. I was incredibly out of shape and I used to play for a Division 2 team.

The industry has really changed. For anyone that used to play, when I quit the NPPL still existed and the Ego just came out and was the new hott marker on the field.

I really need to hit the field again. (On the positive, paint is a lot cheaper now)

**Note on protection**

I've covered a lot of paintball events back in the day. International Amateur Open was my biggest. And I just had a towel over the camera and I was holding a DIY ref shield that I placed the camera in. UV filter over the camera. Plus my hand covered a lot of the camera. I was never shot in the camera.
 
Iused THICK beach towls with bungy cords...only thing exposed is the lens..for that I use a ploroized filter or a UV..depending on light condidtions.
