Paige - You've Got Guts (Music Video)

I liked it! At first when I saw the colour correction I thought "wow, blown out.. this might get annoying", but I got used to it and it gave the video a pretty cool look. Only other comment on that would be that maybe if the lead singer wasn't wearing a white-shirt, he wouldn't have blended into the walls as much. That might have been the look you were going for, so I guess it's just a personal opinion.

Loved the song, great band. Any extra info about the video would be good to read... always love hearing about different music video shoots! Info like how many takes did you do, what settings you shot on, where the location was, how you found it and if you can give a budget that would be interesting to hear. Also if you can post some screen grabs of the raw footage and compare it with the CC, that would be sweet too!

So yeah, great work in the end. Can't wait to see some more of your stuff. It was very engaging for a performance piece, so well done! Is the band happy with it?

hey i worked on this video as well. sorry its taken so long to reply. been busy working. we shot at a girls house somewhere expensive. cant remember the place name now. but the house was massive. the video was shot in the hallway! as dan said this was our first video so we took alot form this. if you notice at once point you can see a gel over our lights, and also watch the drummer. some shots he is properly playing other shots he is doing it half assed. half way through the shot the girls parents returned from their holiday so maybe he didn't want to wake the baby! we shot for something like 4 hours which is pretty quick but if you'd just come back from holiday would you want a group of strangers to be playing loud music all day? thi video led us to more work and currently we're working on a video for london band werewolves who used to be called break the sky. will post it as soon as its completed
