Pabst Blue Ribbon Spots.

Re: Pabst Blue Ribbon Spots.

Well, if your blowhard comments were all in jest, imagine how I feel with my pointless replies to blowhard comments! That's twice removed!

No though, it was a great debate. I really enjoyed it. Hope someone makes something else controversial in the near future, as the group on this board clearly have a batch of intelligent things to say.

...and the next commercial we see is a kid with a bloody nose whose thoughtful dad immediately shoves a Tampax in each dripping nostril......

Pabst is canned piss.Stands to reason they'd commission a commercial to match....

No, my posts were of a serious nature. But you need to know I'm NOT a serious guy. I can laugh at myself, even when I have to get serious. Remember, posts don't convey tone of voice, etc. unless the poster uses all capitals, or profanity, or sarcasm, or twelve exclamation points. I think you'll notice none of my posts used any of this. Any negative "tone of voice" was in the mind of the perceiver. I was trying to convey information (obviously mixed with interpretation of that information, aka opinion). My feelings as I posted was more like I was wearing a labcoat than a cleric's collar.

But given the outcome, I can sit back and laugh at myself and how I went on and on and on, and yet it had no bearing on the outcome (even though I'm pleased with the outcome). That's all I meant. I wasn't pulling your leg. Just a friendly debate.

Oh, I was laughing at it too. That last post wasn't meant in any kind of even remote seriousness! I was just riffing off of your "was this for naught?" question. This sarcasm and humor doesn't always translate so well on the internet.

Here's an interesting AP article a friend sent me about PBR's big new following: http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/business/2456497
