Hello, Is video played by the p2 viewer supposed to be fluid, or normal? Mine is very choppy. I'm sure I screwed something up. Thanks

The P2 viewer is pretty hardware intensive (especially if you're playing back 1080 video fullscreen). You may want to lower the quality settings or playback size in the options section to improve performance as this may alleviate some of the choppiness issues you're experiencing.

Your computer will be too slow. The recommended system performance for playing back HD full screen is about 3.2Ghz CPU and 1Gb RAM.
The only thing to do is go into the P2 viewer tools menu, under customize and in the HD playback tab you can select 'play half frames' and 'half resolution on full screen playback.
Either that or find a faster computer. Its a pain.

try shooting some DVCPRO50 and see how that plays back. On laptop I tried HD wouldn't play but PRO50 was fine.

Here's some info from the P2 viewer download site (theres is a useful on the site thats shows what you can and can't playback);
