Just got the Panasonic P2 Store (AJ-PCS060) in today. Had 4 or 5 shots on a 4GIG P2 card and attemped to copy them into the unit, which seemed to work fine as the percentage window lit up until apparently the files were copied in. However, I am not getting the unit to show up on my desktop (Mac OS X Tiger) via USB.
When I connect the HVX directly to my computer via Firewire, it shows up fine on my desktop, but nothing happens when I connect the P2 Store Unit by USB. I read here where you've got to force the unit into a certain mode by holding the HD, Batt and Cancel button all at the same time until the light turns orange. I did this, still nothing shows up on the desktop.
Also, am I supposed to be seeing a P2 Store Software showing up somewhere? I installed the Utility Software, but see nothing. Can anybody help tell me what I'm doing wrong and how to get the unit to show up on the desktop? Just want to be sure it works! Thanks so much for any help.
