P2 Store Technical question...

Hey guys...

I dumped all my footage for the first time from a shoot over the weekend and I've read about pressing certain buttons on the P2 Store to put it into "Mac Mode"

My question is once there is footage on the drive, if I hit the buttons for "Mac Mode" will it do anything to the information on the drive? I'm hesistant to hit the buttons...I have this fear I'll format the entire thing and lose 2 full days of shooting.

Any feedback will be appreciated...

No, switching to Mac mode or PC mode only changes the way the drive presents itself to the computer, it doesn't change the data in any way. The only way to reformat the drive is to press the recessed HDD format button followed by the start button. Switching modes while loaded has proven perfectly safe for me.
