P2 Store pass thru

Maybe this has been asked before (I did a search but couldn't find any posts) anyways, before I go out and buy the mini usb cable adaptor, i wanted to know if you can see the video clips on the P2 Store?

I have a client who wants to shoot in DV50 and transfer via component output to digibeta.. after the shoot I want to plug the P2 store back into the camera and just hit play and record on the deck...

The P2 store is just a drive. You can play from it using a computer, but it has no way to be "seen" by the camera. The MCR can only play clips from the P2 slots.
