P2 Store mount to Mac

Whats the trick to get the P2 Store to mount to a mac via USB 2.0?

I read somewhere that you have to format the HDD for it to work? Is that correct?

Make certain you are in the Mac mode on the p2

I installed the software but its the same P2 software that came with the HVX. How do you switch the P2 store to be in "Mac Mode". Is it a combination of buttons to switch it over?
