Hi Folks,

Just shot 2 hours of HD footage in a helicopter today and thought I'd let you all know that the P2 Store does NOT work in this environment. There's way to much vibration for the built in sensors on the P2 Store (of course, I believe you can switch this facility off) but who wants to risk doing that?

We ended up swapping cards out and transferring onto a PC Laptop and when that Hard Drive filled up we switched to a Mac Book Pro and captured live via the firewire.

Overall, a total success and will be posting the video's in the coming weeks. Where I look forward to reading your comments and critiques.

yes, I had heard of exactly same problem, if you can call it that. (Personally, I like how the p2 store is overly cautious about writing in rough environments) I wonder if you put p2 store in a box with about 5" of foam on all sides whether that would dampen vibration sufficiently to allow it to write, albeit at a slower rate.

Or in a Backpack. I've been using the P2 store while shooting, in a backpack, and while it definetly is slower, it does the job.
