P2 Store 16g Update for Mac

Just bought a 16g card and updated my HVX with the latest firmware. Bought and installed the upgraded FCP2. Shot some test footage on the 16g cards, went to dump it on the P2 store....need another firmware update. Found the firmware download on the Panasonic site...but for windows only. Drive to Kinkos (all I or anyone I know owns is Mac), put the P2 store back into windows mode, download the zip file from the Panasonic website, only to find it can't be opened on any machine at kinkos...they would not give me an administrative password. By now I'm pretty peeved. Does anyone know the skinny on the P2 store firmware for Mac? Pretty pissed I wasted half a day screwing around with this 16g firmware. They really ought to tell you outright when they sell it that you have to do this, that, and the other thing to make it work. I love the camera though.....

With the help of a friend, we figured out a workaround using an old G4 laptop. Not the simplest thing I've ever done but PM me if you have the same problem and I'll be glad to help.
