P2 recording setup (O or 7.5IRE)?

What should i have my P2 recording setup dialed in to? In the main menu, under Camera Setup, then P2 setup, theres a choice between 0 and 7.5IRE. Since this is an NTSC camera, yes it should be at 7.5IRE. HOWEVER at the same time its 24p, 24p native to be exact (for us p2 users). Since 24p is technically NOT NTSC and is more in the film realm, resembling the RGB universe, should we be then shooting at 0IRE? Just like the DVX?

I shoot all digital at 0 IRE... 7.5 is for analog formats.

All recording to the card is always done at 0 IRE, you can't change that. If it goes to the card, it's at zero.

What that option controls is whether setup is added to your analog outputs or not.

As I understand it, you'll basically always use 0 IRE. An exception would be if you were broadcasting live (not recording), or recording to an analog deck, then you would apply 7.5 IRE for NTSC standards.
