P2 logging into different projects in FCP 6.0.3.

I Have some P2 files that were logged in a project "A" that I want to carry over to project "B". Whenever I have the Log and Transfer window up and switch between the two projects, it loses the names from project "A". How can I keep all the logged names and be able to log in project "B"?

Sorry, kinda confusing and hard to explain.

If it's in the same computer, just copy and paste the files from one project to the other and it (the computer) will recognize the file names on your drives - no need to re-capture them..

If it's in a different computer, transfer the already "transferred" files to an external hard drive, move the files to the new computer in a named folder, and import (file-import-folder) them into the new project.
 
It is on the same computer. When I copy and paste the files into that project. The log and capture does not recognize them and all the name fields go blank. It's almost like they need to be reconnected or something.

Actually, it does not keep the same file names in the "log and capture window"
I know what you mean in the bin though.
Basically, when I try to log those files in the new project it doesn't transfer the names in the log and transfer of the p2 files
