P2 file structure - is it the same everywhere?

Hi guys,
I have been shooting HVX with a FS-100 for about 6 months. I'm aware on the CONTENTS folder which then has the VIDEO and AUDIO subfolders. I use FCP without any issue when importing.

My question is, do the P2 cards save the MXF files with the same 'contents/video/audio' sub-folder hierachy?

I am asking as I'm doing testing for another software with a new P2 import ability and they basically seem to expect that the video and audio files will be in the one directory structure (you select video and it looks for similarly-named audio files), hence with the normal FS-100 sub-folder ddesign, that is not going to work.

Lastly, can someone explain what the LASTCLIP.TXT file actually does and does FCP use it for importing in any way?

Regards,
Steve

Yes that's what a P2 card looks like. CONTENTS folder and LASTCLIP.TXT file, and within the CONTENTS folder are six subfolders (NOT JUST AUDIO AND VIDEO!)

The lastclip text file just has a reference to the last recorded clip on the card.

Thanks Barry... yes, I forgot to mention the other sub-directories. But good to know that the FS and P2 cards record the same way.
Regards,
Steve
