P2 drivers only on one PC??

Just curious....why is Panasonic so insistent on their P2 drivers only being used on one computer?

"4. Usage computer
The Software shall be used on a single computer; it may not be used on multiple computers."

I'd like the option of downloading my P2 files to my laptop when in the field..but also my editing station at home...does this mean I have to buy the drivers from somewhere else?

Or do people just wear patches over one eye when using P2 drivers on more than one machine??

This is more of a typical thing in my view than anything else.

You can install the drivers on as many machines you want, there's nothing to restrict or prevent that action, no serial or activation there...
