P2 driver download needed

This may sound like a stupid question, but I am trying to test out some MXF files I've downloaded with PPro1.5 and Cineform Aspect HD 4.1 .
Cineform requires the P2 reader application to be installed to work, so I went to Panasonic and downloaded it. When I try to install the P2 reader, it says I have to install the P2 driver first. And here is where I start to get annoyed- I go BACK to panasonic and find I can't download the P2 drivers for PC without a vaild serial number for a camera.

I'm just testing this workflow out, but what if I had a client who brought me MXF files on an HD that I was then going to do some special effects work on- how would I open them? I don't own the camera (yet) but I'm stuck.

Can someone help me out?

Oops, I'm an idiot- I was trying to download the wrong thing (P2 driver for cameras and decks, rather than for PC/Mac computers) now I got the right thing, and everything is happy.

P.S. Cineform on my 'old' P4 3ghz isn't nearly as slow as I'd imagine it would be.

I should hope not. :) Particularly 720p24/25 footage should be comfortably real-time within Aspect HD.

You loaded the driver whithout a camera attached? I haven't been so lucky. Maybe I am looking at the wrong driver.
