Are you referring to a PCI-X p2 reader for the Mac or a firewire/cardbus reader?

Firewire

P2 Adapters

P2 Adapters

Since there are no Firewire P2 adapters on the market, what about Expresscard to PCMCIA for the new MPB? I have only managed to find one so far http://sewelldirect.com/ExpressCard/ExpressCardAdapters

Is that the only one out there? I find it hard to believe. Can anyone shed more light on this for me? Is this a safe bet? Short of hooking tha camera to the computer, or spending a lot of money, how are other new MPB users transferring their P2s?

Haven't found the thread if there is one.

That one is the same as the Duel Adapter, and it's basically the only one out there that works with the Mac.

There's another one, from Addonics, but it only works with Windows so far.

The MAC PRO has PCI slot EXPRESS.
So it is not compatible.:embarasse

I was talking about laptops.

Desktop PCI Express cards exist, but apparently don't work with the Mac Pro either.
