P2 cards wont mount first time

I read somebody else had this problem awhile back, but it appears that other issues have pushed it aside.

When I attach my camera in 1394 mode to G5 only one of the two 8Gb cards will mount. So I dismount it, shut off camera and turn back on and on the second attempt BOTH cards will mount as they should. I can then import P2 without any problem.

Is there a fix for getting both cards to mount on the first attempt? This is only a minor nuisance but it happens EVERY time.

You could try USB 2.0 mode. just make sure both cards are in 'WRITE PROTECT' mode by flipping the switch on the cards to make them mount.
