p2 cards from other companies?

Are there companies that manufacture p2 clones? I read that Maxell makes a P2 card called the P2C. It sparked my curiosity for others. Im sure there is a discussion about this somewhere in the forum but i have failed to find it.

Fuji, Maxell and Panasonic. They are all the same price.

thanks, this is helpful.

Try Google.
Sorry, I should have explained in detail everything i did try. I first got a coffee, and happened to notice a article on the Maxell P2C, and thought to myself "I wonder if there are others". I went to GOOGLE, and paused contemplating what keywords would be best for finding other P2 makers. I tried "p2 16gb clone", "p2 16gb manufactuers" and "p2 panasonic clones". But none of the results on the first page of each appeared to show promise of giving mention to other manufactures. Regardless, for the sake of it I opened the first few of each, and to no avail. So, I went to dvxuser.com and I tried to search there. I tried "p2 clone" and checked the first 3 pages. Having found nothing, I decided to post.

It's not the 90's anymore and this isnt IRC, most people do some research before asking.

there has been a lot of talk about 3rd party p2 card makers but ive not seen a lot of rubber meeting the road.

initially i think all the buzz was in hope that somebody would make a much cheaper card, but when they did come out, the pricing was pretty much the same as panasonics.

and with the new MUCH lower priced e-series p2 cards, i predict you will see MUCH less interest in 3rd party branded cards...

Hi,
I've been using a Fuji 32gig since last xmas, it is no differnt than the 4 Pana P2 cards I also have, except I was able to barter a good price form the dealer, I could not barter at all with pana p2 card re-sellers, it was, "that's our price". (my five slots are now full)
Try-

their dealers-

there's plenty of FJUI pro dealers to talk to, most you will have to tell them what a P2 card is first. ask them also abourt the newer E-series cheaper cards also...

Maxell, i've not seen anything but brochure's.

Good luck
