P2 cards coming down?

Anyone heard about P2 cards coming down in price. Have just the 4 for my HPX and been itching for more....almost convinced myself to buy an HVX200a or wait for an HPX170 just to get the additional P2 card and have another "2nd camera"

I know the 64 gig wil be out end of the year.
plus I've heard aftermarket one will be coming out at much lower prices.

once you have 4 64 gig cards in the camera you're done, thats 640 minutes of record time in 24pn. That's over 10 1/2 hours !!!!!!!

What that's really going to do is revolutionise documentary filmmaking. Imagine not having to tote around an entire backpack full of DVCpro tapes through the jubgles and all those other remote places Discovery channel goes to. Not to mention the ability to only use what you need and delete useless footage.

Now if someone can just come up with a super-battery that lets you shooot all day, I'll be in hog heaven

I agree. It's going to be great that much recording time....and soo close....yet so far. It's tough spending 1600 or so dollars on a 32GB card knowing that'll be the price of the 64 down the road. 64, I agree, will be just about all that is ever needed....

Forget a battery that will shoot all day, how about a cameraman or AC who will shoot all day and not have to eat!
