P2 cards and Mac Formatting.....

Been using the hpx on controlled shoots. great so far.

I need to format p2 cards during a live shoot and was wondering if people had suggestions for the best way to format the cards within the macbook pro since my camera will be busy....

I don't use mac, but can't you use the P2 content manager?
I've heard you're not supposed to format on a Mac, just delete. Something about the Mac adding files after formatting, I think.
