Hi folks,
I'm a semi-beginner to the world of Avid, and a definite beginner with the HVX-200 camera & P2 cards.
Anyway, we shot some footage on our P2 cards at 720/24p (NOT 24pn), and have been using them in a 720/59.94 Avid project.
Is there a way to get these MXF files recognized in a 720/23.976 Avid project? I tried to do a transcode with the clips, but it kept telling me the clip frame rate & project frame rates.
However, with tapes shot on a Vericam tape, we've been able to capture footage in both 59.94 and 23.976 projects. So, is it because footage shot directly on P2 cards is already technically captured & digitzed that we can't change it?
Any and all help would be...um, helpful. Thanks.
