P2 card transfer to Mac problem

Did my first ever transfer of P2 media to a new MacBook Pro 2.6 GHz 4 Mb RAM using OS 10.5.4. Used Panasonic P2CMS software to manage the transfer. Destination target is CalDigit HDOne RAID connected via PCI Express card.
I didn't stay to watch the transfer but when I returned P2CMS indicated that 7 shots out of 60 were "rolled back" and not transferred. I put the P2 card back in the HVX200 and attempted a Clip Repair and got a "No Clip Repair" message. The clip played fine in the camera when I tried that.
Next I tried to copy the second P2 card the same way as the first. The Copying status bar stopped about a third of the way through. RAID activity lights stopped and nothing was happening. I hit the Cancel button in the copy dialogue and got a "Canceling" message even though the Copying message remained. After many minutes I tried to Force Quit P2CMS. The interface disappeared immediately, but the program name did not clear from the Force Quit window. Tried Force Quit a few more times with no change. Tried dragging the P2 card icon to the Trash but got message Card Is In Use, Try Quitting Programs. Next tried to shut down the Mac and it looked like the Finder quit but the computer would not shut down until the hard Command-Control-Power tactic.
I wonder what's going on. I wonder why the transfer of the 2nd card didn't continue and P2CMS indicate bad clips like the first card transfer. Unless the reason for the copying to stop even though the copying dialog said "copying" was for some other reason than encountering a corrupt clip. Seven untransferable clips out 60 seems disproportionally high.
I certainly would appreciate any analysis, advice, suggestions. Thanks.

Found the solution in a software upgrade to the RAID. Thanks to all who read the post, anyway.

Another Macbook HPX170 issue. Downloaded latest software both from web and that which was packaged with camera. Same issue with both. Using a duel adapter I used to be able to eject the card and put in the next one for transfer. Now it seem it will not recognize the new card until I restart. Didn't happen before with the HVX-200 P2 transfers.

Any thoughts?

thanks
