I just came back from a field shoot with my laptop, hardrive setup and I came across an error I haven't been able to solve.
I used the pcmia reader in the laptop to unload each of the cards once. The next day I filled the cards again and tried to do the same thing but when I put the card in, P2CMS would tell me it was write protected. The switch wasn't set to protect, and all I was trying to do was ingest.
Basically it would start reading the card and immediately come up with that error. Nothing I could do would fix it.
Luckily we were also evaluating the Panasonic card reader and it and P2CMS had no problems with the cards. But our normal offload system is just the laptop.
Anyone know why we'd be getting this problem?
