I had a shoot yesterday and dumped 4 gig, p2 cards onto laptop using p2 genie. There were 10 full cards that were transferred.
When I transferred data from laptop to portable harddrive the sound from one card was missing. No audio on card but video was there. I know there was sound because I did an extensive soundcheck with two mics.
I had another shoot today and the P2 Genie stopped dumping mid way and Said
"oops a major error has occured" (or something like that) indicating it could be the fault of Genie. So I copied the card contents without the p2 genie. All the files are there but the audio and video cannot be imported using Tools/p2 select in Edius.
My other p2 cards did not seem to have a problem dumping with p2 genie. So could my card be going bad or should I reinstall p2 genie.
