P2 Card not reading at all

Hi guys got a F series 64 gig P2 card that does not read in the camera at all in fact it is like its not even there i have tried to format in camera but cant wondering if anyone knows if they can be repaired maybe it is a physical or hardware problem.
obviously if there is a software resolution or some things to try first i would like to give them a go.
this came with a camera i purchased as is so it cant be returned.
also does anyone know who repairs these in Los Angeles would be great or can they even be repaired ?

little more detail Camera works fine with other p2 cards im getting red no p2 card in left corner of lcd which tells me something i wrong with card i have checked the safety switch at the back of the card and it is unlocked
 
i should probably mention i am working with a mac however i think i have a hardware problem with the card and this card needs to be taken apart and checked anyone know who repairs these thanks?
