P2 card formatted in disk utility, hvx wont read now.

Hey guys, on a shoot today, someone formatted a p2 card using disk utility on a mac, now the camera says it is a format it can't read. Is there anyway to format the card back to its original settings? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

might be something to help

p.s. - as a practice i never format (nor erase) a card with a computer. i hand off, an assistant transfers and i take the 5 extra seconds it takes to reformat the card in camera afterward

Maybe a stupid question, but just to be sure - did you try to format it in the camera?

Yes we tried to format it in the camera, but it wont even read the card.

And thanks for the link, we will try to reformat it with the driver later today.
