I recently had a strange occurance while off-loading an 8gb card into a P2 Store. The error light came on from the P2 store when it was about 80% transferred. I pulled the card and placed it back into the HVX slot to attempt to play it back and check the files. I noticed 2 different poster frames of the files on the viewfinder had small red exclamation type icons in the corner of the frame. I was able to eventually transfer them but the error turned out to be that there was no audio for the 2 clips. When the card contents were backed up, I attempted to re-format the card in the camera and the flagged files would not delete. I double checked the save-tab on the card and it was not on save. After re-seating the card a few times, it finally re-formatted clean. BTW, I was using a second P2 store and additional cards from a friends camera package. I wasn't sure if formatting was incomplete if done on another camera with a specific digital footprint to cause an error like this. Anyone have similar stories?
