P2 Card Confusion

So I'm looking to rent an HPX170, but I'm having some confusion about the P2 cards.

I keep trying to find what the recording time is, and it's getting me lost, so I ask here:

Recording at 1080/24p, how many minutes can I record onto a 32gb P2 card?

It's about a minute in per gigabyte 1080 or the non-Native 720 modes.

JEEEZ!!! OUCH! I guess if you don't have a laptop on set you have to treat it a lot more like film. Be very selective with what you actually record.

But if you record a clip you don't want to keep, unlike film, you can just go to the card and delete that clip. Most use two cards - fill one up, nad while it is dumping to the laptop, fill the other.

your alternative is to shoot 720p/24pn which will get you 84 mins on a 32GB card.
