I just bought an HVX200 and I'm looking to the P2 card and MacBook (Pro or not) (there is a P2 card adapter for MacBook Pros RELEASED) see link :

or with the FireStore FS-100 and it's difficult to choose the best world in between those two system. There is some advantages and disadvantages for both system.

What, for you, is the one you are considering as the most reliable and easy to work with ? Advantage, disadvantages for each ?

Thanks for your feedback.

There is so much information on your questions here on the boards.

Might want to spend some time going through the threads and then come back with some specific questions.

p2 works in some situations better the FS100 and the reverse is true as well.

Hi David,

I did some research on the site, but I was not sure which one was still the better option.
I know there is some problem with the glitch and MacBook, but I just found a thread by Barry Green "The Glitch may be related to putting P2 Cards in without using the write-protect tab" who seem to be the answer to this problem.

I will do some more research before taking any decision.

you might consider a pc laptop with pcmcia. Its cheaper and your probably not going to edit on the laptop anyway. The only advantage of the macbook is the long battery life but then you have no way of transfering the p2 content and keep using the camera.(no external slot).

A forum search will sure help you find an answer.

Salut Pierre,

De plus en plus de membre DVXUser de Montréal. It's what I read on some thread, cheaper to get a pc laptop with pcmcia. Here you say "but then you have no way of transfering the p2 content and keep using the camera.(no external slot)", did you mean for MacBook pro, there is a new external slot now working with the Pro.
